In future, the users of audio providers connected to Quantyoo can log in using the new European login standard, netID. The Munich-based big data company is expanding its portfolio with an important authentication service, providing users with a simple, secure login process and transparent data management.
The days in which Internet users have to remember a multitude of different user names and passwords are gradually coming to an end. Single sign-on solutions such as netID provide a solution: they allow users to log in to different sites with just a single combination of user name and password. By connecting to netID, Quantyoo is now making this possibility available as a European standard for over 100 audio providers, regardless of whether they belong to Quantyoo shareholders or not.
“Transparency and security are our top priorities at Quantyoo,” says Managing Director Matthias Ross. “For this reason, netID was important for us as it enables us to offer a high quality, data protection compliant standard for our customers quickly, so that this field is no longer left to Facebook and Google. Quantyoo is not alone in taking up this challenge. Well-known brands and companies like the Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland and ProSiebenSat.1 Media are also netID partners. As are the parcel service DPD and United Internet with the brands WEB.DE and GMX. Through the integration at Quantyoo, netID now unites a total of around 200 partners from the publishing industry as well as from the areas of e-commerce, logistics and financial services.
Sven Bornemann, CEO of the European netID Foundation, is excited about this growth: “Through the partnership with Quantyoo, Germany’s largest private broadcasters, which have been reliable and credible brands for decades, can now implement our login standard, netID. This creates visibility and thus more awareness for netID and also increases the acceptance for legally compliant SSO solutions made in Europe”. Quantyoo now actively supports the European netID Foundation in addition to its role as a member of the advisory board for publishing/marketing.
