Five long-standing industry experts are on the new board right from the start. These are: Jens Depenau, (Expert Lead Cookieless, GroupM Competence Center GmbH), Benedict Gründig (Director Business Development Dach, Criteo), Sven Wegholz (Senior Data Strategy Consultant, Publicis Media), Tobias Wegmann (CTO, Mediaplus Realtime GmbH & Co. KG) and Marko Witte (Director Technology Solutions, PIA Media).
The aim of the new Advertising Advisory Board is to bring together the interests of advertisers, technology service providers and agencies and to ensure that their market perspective is considered during the further development of netID. The foundation also aims to jointly develop and market appropriate use cases.
“Many publishers have already adopted netID, and now we want to increasingly address agencies and advertising companies. Our new Advertising Advisory Board contributes to making netID more understandable, effective and attractive for advertisers as well as having a greater impact on the market. In addition to internationalization, this is an essential component of our growth strategy,” says Jörn Strehlau, CEO of the European netID Foundation.
The Advisory Board for Advertising complements the existing Advisory Boards for Data Protection, E-Commerce, Financial Services and Publishing/Marketing as well as the recently established Advisory Board for Austria – thus highlighting netID’s position as a holistic market solution.
