New addition to European netID Foundation advisory board: Deutsche Post goes netID

The European netID Foundation welcomes a new member to one of its advisory boards: Lars Schlimbach. The sales expert is Head of Partner Management & Development Dialogue Marketing at Deutsche Post, where he is responsible for the development and marketing of digitalized marketing services within the framework of strategic partnerships.

 

Drawing on his many years of experience in the digital industry and his marketing expertise, Lars Schlimbach will support the netID Publishing/Ad Sales Advisory Board. The Board is made up of representatives from various market participants such as Süddeutsche Zeitung, Pubmatic, Ströer Digital and iq Digital. In addition to the Publishing/Ad Sales Advisory Board, the European netID Foundation has three further advisory boards focusing on data protection, e-commerce and financial services. The advisory boards include representatives of numerous digital companies including publishers, AdTech and e-commerce providers. As an independent foundation, the European netID Foundation also has a Board of Trustees including representatives from Telekom Deutschland and independent experts from the fields of law and economics, in addition to the founding members Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland, ProSiebenSat.1 Media and United Internet.

“Our advisory boards offer all market participants an open forum where current topics and industry challenges can be discussed. Such exchange is important and necessary in order to take all interests into account and enable us to further develop our netID products accordingly. We are pleased to welcome Deutsche Post, another internationally active logistics group, as a partner. The cooperation is another milestone in positioning us as a market solution and alternative to GAFAs,” says Sven Bornemann, CEO of the European netID Foundation.
