Auth0, the modern identity platform, and the European netID Foundation today announced the availability of netID Single Sign-On on Auth0 Marketplace, a catalog of trusted technology integrations to extend the functionality of Auth0’s identity management platform.
netID enables users to sign into apps and websites with their netID account, and to decide privately and transparently which data to share. As an independent, European identity provider with more than 38 million active user accounts in Germany, netID provides the necessary infrastructure for Single Sign-On (SSO), but does not store any user data itself. Users can manage the consents they’ve given at any time in netID’s Privacy Center.
“Whether in finance, e-commerce, or online publishing, engaging with users in an all trusted and transparent way is key to driving success. We are excited about the partnership with Auth0 and the availability of the netID Single Sign-On integration. Joint customers can now seamlessly integrate our product and offer users a European alternative to U.S. social login providers,” says Achim Schlosser, board member and chief technology officer of the European netID Foundation.
“After speaking with many customers, we have identified the integrations that matter to them. The availability of netID on Auth0 Marketplace is a direct response to the growing need for privacy-enhancing technologies in Europe, and part of our continued commitment to international markets,” said Cassio Sampaio, SVP of Product at Auth0. “We are thrilled to have netID as a vetted and valuable vendor in Auth0 Marketplace.”
Auth0 reviews partner integration functionality, and makes available integrations that are easy to discover and integrate for customers. Partners can participate in the growing demand for digital identity solutions and increase their visibility as part of the Auth0 Marketplace, and can learn more here: https://auth0.com/partners.
